He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sislo and Jennie Sislo (Laskoski); his wife Patsy; and his siblings, Bernard, David and Laura Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann Stariha (Scott) of Englewood, FL, Steven Sislo (Paula) of Superior, WI and Brian Sislo (Karen) of Superior, WI; his grandchildren, Danielle Plestad (Oak), Brooke Baker (Dave), Lindsey Kilgore (Wes), Megan Eliason (Tate), Matthew Sislo (Karen), Chris Sislo (Jamie), Shawn Sislo (Carolina), Bethany Huray (Josh), Scott Sislo and Mike Sislo (Tara); and his sister Barb Fisher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Downs Life Celebration Center (1902 N 34th St, Superior, WI 54880). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's name to the Solid Rock Mission, 1004 N 6th St., Superior.
