He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lien and Marcella Lien (Marcie Berg); his brother Daniel "Dan" Lien; and his niece-in-law Tara Lien. He is survived by: his close friend Julie Basina; his siblings, Cathy Kurtz (Al) and Greg Lien (Diane Patnode) of Mahtomedi, MN; his siblings' children, Paul Kurtz, Al Kurtz (Samantha), Brad Lien of Duluth, MN, Cassie Price (Brent) of Oak Grove, MN and Angie Pienaar (Peter) of South Range, WI; and his pet Beau Peep. He is also survived by many extended family and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eagles Club (1710 N 12th St, Superior, WI 54880).
