He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane (Bellefeuille) and Louis J. Gallagher; his wife Ruth Peterson; his daughter Pamela Laurvick; his siblings, Jim, Bill, Dick, Barbara and Shirley Ryan; and his great grandchild A. J. Conley.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Tikkanen, Cheryl Nelson (Bob) and Nathan Gallagher (Jennifer); his sisters-in-law, Wanda Peterson, Sandy Gallagher, Lana Gallagher and Sandy Lally; and his close friends, Shirley Brown and Dick Malinowski. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Jack had requested that memorials may be made to the A.J. Conley Scholarship at the Superior Scholarship Foundation, 3025 Tower Avenue, Superior, WI 54880.
