He was predeceased by: his son Tim; his parents, Gerald O'Brien and Helen O'Brien; and his sister Marjorie. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ford; his children, Michael (Phyllis Federspiel) of Manitowish Waters and Kelly Lacko (Scott) of Eagle River; his grandchildren, Kyrstin O'Brien (David), Sean O'Brien (Kelsey), Sam Lacko (Marisa) and Josh Lacko (McKenna); his great grandchildren, Lucille Lacko and Willow O'Brien; and his brothers, Jerry and Bob (Patty). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church (5001 Co Rd G, Eagle River, WI 54521). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eagle River Lion's Club.
