With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katherine A. Thompson of Superior, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Katherine left this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Katherine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Katherine. Though Katherine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Thompson (Trissler). She is survived by: her father Stanley Thompson (Karen); and her siblings, Barbara Thompson and Michael Thompson. She is also survived by her cat, "Spazzy"; and her many co-workers and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lew Martin Senior Center (1527 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880).
