She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Peltzer and Elizabeth Peltzer (Fenske); her husbands, Francis Schmid and Howard Proffit of Superior; her daughter Janette Jakoubek; her daughter-in-law Denise Schmid; her granddaughters, Janelle Sherwood and Julie Jakoubek; her great grandchild Audrey Clara Tingey; and her siblings, Ruth Davidson, Naomi Morris, Vera Burdick, Katherine Thornhill, Lela Peltzer, Edwin, Alfred and Alvin Peltzer.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Schmid (Darlene), James Schmid, Patricia Nielsen and Marcia Kief (Jack). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 greatgrandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
