We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2024, at the age of 84, Maris Freiman of Superior, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edvins Freimanis and Lily Freimanis; and his former life partner Rita Smelte. He is survived by : his wife Joanne Salveson of Hayward; his sons, Michael (Johnna Mae) of Brandon, MS, Mark (Peggy) of Harvard and Peter (Lorie) of Flowood, MS; his grandchildren, Erik, Anna and Abby; and his stepdaughters, Jamie Carlson (Tom) of South Range, Jeanne Salveson of Superior and Julie Conner (William) of Superior. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and seven step-greatgrandchildren.
