He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sorensen and Patricia Sorensen. He is survived by: his wife Sigrid; his mother-in-law Hilde Kausch; his children, Lauren Mehtala (Chris), Matt Sorensen (Jackie) and Danielle Egge (Bill); his grandchildren, Oliver, Ottis, Bennett, Minna, Ella and Lola; and his siblings, Sue Ryan (Craig), Scott Sorensen (Gretchen) and Shawn Sorensen (Denise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
