With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie A. Coder of Superior, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore LeBlanc and June LeBlanc (Campbell); and her husband Samuel Coder. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Coder (Maxine), Paulette Alseth (Randy) and Sally Coder-Martinez; her grandchildren, Jessica Parker (Eli), Dallas Hamilton (Adam), Meagan Anderson, Lucas Geissler (Trust), Logan Alseth (Lia), JJ Alseth, Stoney Alseth, Blessance Alseth, Emilia Martinez, Rosalinda House (CJ) and Miguel Martinez; her stepgrandchildren, John, Laura and Matthew Norton; and her siblings, MaryJo Scandin (Jamey) and Jon LeBlanc (Peggy). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony Church (4315 E 3rd St, Superior, WI 54880). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
