With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Bates of Superior, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on March 18, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bates and Helen Bates (Holmstrom). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Sando; his children, Taras Bates of Altus, OK and Kristina Madsen (Kevin) of Superior, WI; and his grandchildren, Haley Zabala-Bates of Anchorage, AK, Marcus of Superior and Nora Madsen of Superior.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Bill's name to Spartan Manufacturing program at Superior High School.
