He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Marion "Chum" Yakel; his children, Heather Thomson (Justin) of Suring and John Yakel (Brooke) of Suamico; his mother Fern Cramer (Strehlow) of Suring; his siblings, Jean Greggs (Robert) of Oneida, Joan Rickaby (David) of St. Francis, Bob Yakel (Lisa) of Suring, Kim Kern of Crandon and Rusty Yakel (Annemarie) of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Quinn, Riley, Annabelle Thomson, Sam, Brielle, Hallie, Jonah and Tiffany Yakel; his girlfriend Rose Heckl; his stepfather John Cramer; and his nephew Josh Wech. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
