She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Schmelling and Ruby Schmelling (Oestrich); and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Meath, Darlene Richter, Rev. Harold Hermetz and Robert Socha.

She is survived by: her husband Art; her children, Linda Regal, Laura Phillips, Gary Regal (Amy), Kathy Runge (Martin), Greg Regal and Brian Regal (Amy); her daughter-in-law Debbie Regal; her grandchildren, Nathan Regal (Megan), Aaron Regal (Katie), Joshua Regal (Sarah), Luke Runge (Madison), Mark Runge (Jess), Linzy Runge, Brent Regal, Bennett Regal, Isaac Regal, Emma Regal and Caleb Regal; her great grandchildren, Gracie, Jackson, Aria, Griffin, Wesson, Kahrter and Barrett; her siblings, Myrna Hermetz and Donald Schmelling (Donna); and her siblings-in-law, Lucille Socha, Redeena Regal and Thomas Meath. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
