He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Gerndt and Norma Gerndt (Nelson); and his brother Bob Gerndt. He is survived by: his wife Carla; his children, Renee Wolf (Brian), Craig Gerndt (Jennifer), Gina Cramer (Pete) and Crystal Schroeder (Chris); his grandchildren, Harlee Wolf (Brady), Ginger, Georgia Gerndt, Autumn, Morgan Dryja, Birdee, Bunny Cramer, Clark and Chloe Schroeder; his siblings, Kathy Rupiper (Dick) and Lee Gerndt (Bev); his sister-in-law Barb Gerndt; and his pet Mack. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
