She was predeceased by: her parents, August Fischer and Emily Fischer (Liesner); her sisters, Shirley Wians and Mary Jane Frank; her brothers-in-law, Arlen Wians and Robert Frank; and her stepfather Clarence Thielke.

She is survived by: her friend Canasta; her children, Chad Christenson (Jodi) and Joy Tolzman (Jeff); her grandchildren, Reshina Johnson (Zach), Hunter Christenson and Rebecca Christenson; and her great grandchild Kensley Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
