He is survived by: his parents, Mitchell Halstead and Leann Halstead (Duket); his daughter Cassidy Halstead; the mother of his child Tammy Kettler; his son Van M. Halstead; the parent of his child Ashley Kaczynski; his grandchildren, Olivia and Kayden; his brothers, Tim Halstead (Jenn) of Shawano and Jason Halstead (Shalynn) of Hales Corners, WI; and his sister-in-law Julia Kratzke of Shawano. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
