Thomas Paul Schepp Obituary

With confidence in the promise of the resurrection and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, Thomas "Tom" Paul Schepp entered eternal rest on March 12, 2026, at the age of 91.

Tom was born in Milwaukee to Charles and Lorene Schepp. He spent many years of his life in Sussex, Wisconsin, where he and his family built deep roots in the community.

Tom lived a life marked by faith, family, and quiet dedication to those around him, particularly his beloved wife Elizabeth "Bette" (nee Schurman), with whom he shared 72 years of marriage. Tom and Bette were members of Faith Lutheran Church in Sussex.

For over 30 years, Tom was a valued employee of OMC Corporation. While most of those years were at the Evinrude plant in Milwaukee, he also served in leadership roles at plants in Plymouth Wisconsin, North Carolina and Mississippi.

Tom leaves behind a legacy through his children: Thomas (Julie) Schepp, Lauren (Michael) Coleman, Richard (Beth) Schepp and Timothy (Anne) Schepp.

Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Corsten, whom he loved dearly. Also preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Steven Schepp and William Schepp his sister Lois Cichocki; and one great grandchild, Piper.

Tom is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who were a continual source of pride and joy in his life.

Tom's immediate family will gather privately to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AngelsGrace Hospice in appreciation for the loving care and compassionate support shown during this time.

The family finds comfort in the promise that "whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.".
