He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne Opalewski; and his parents, Gene Marquardt and Frances Marquardt. He is survived by: his children, Wendy (Ken Gonzalez), Christine Rucinski, Howard Opalewski and Phillip Opalewski, Jr.; and his brothers, Mike Opalewski and Kenneth Marquardt. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
