He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hoff and Angeline Hoff (Perry); his parents-in-law, Roland and Norma Remus; and his brother-in-law Jeff Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Hoff; his children, Matt Neu (Holly), Amy Feller (Hans), Gina Bongard (Andrew) and Tara Kruckeberg (Josh); his grandchildren, Nikolas, Madison, Ellsa, Carter, Anna and Ava; his sister Sharon Peterson; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Smith (Mary) and Tim Remus (Joyce). He is also survived by extended family and countless dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shully's Watermark.
