George L. Pagel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George L. Pagel of Thorp, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pagel and Katherine Pagel (Biddle); and his brothers, Gerald, Ronald and William Pagel.

He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Doege of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, James Pagel, Sr. of Chippewa Falls, WI, Jean Lythjohan (Scott) of Farmington, MN and John Pagel of Chippewa Falls, WI; his grandson Jimmy; his great grandchildren, Deondre and Aamelia; and his sister-in-law Joan Pagel of Eau Claire, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
