She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry O. Hagenson and Sarah Louisa Hagenson (Quesnell); her husband Clarence Mattes; her siblings, Arlene Dubiak, Gerald Hagenson, Robert Hagenson, Eugene Hagenson and Harold Hagenson; and her siblings-in-law, Marion Autio, Joe Dubiak and George Autio.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheree Mattes (Dan Erdmann) of Maple Lake, MN and Shirlee Hodorowski (Jerry) of Thorp, WI; her granddaughter Kelly Jaquish (Tyson) of Ridgeland, WI; her great grandchildren, Braden, Adalynn and Dawson Jaquish; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Hagenson of Stanley, WI and Alberta Hagenson of Nevada, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews. and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mary Lou's family for later donation to the Thorp Food Pantry.
