It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard T. Broda (Thorp, Wisconsin), born in Stanley, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Broda and Josephine Broda (Krzyzanowski). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Shannon of Las Vegas, NV, Kory (Anna) of Boyd, WI, Carrie Ottum (Ben) of Eau Claire, WI and Katelyn Strzok (Jeff) of Thorp, WI.; his sister Kathy Englebert (Dan) of Eau Claire, WI; his in-laws, Bill Janicki (Mary), Karen Zelin (Randy) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Beverly Janicki of Gilman, WI.; and his grandchildren, Anderson, Greyson Ottum, Aubrey, Ethan and Kaden Strzok.
