She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cotoia and Mary Cotoia (Di Chiaro); her husband Dayton; her siblings, Frank Cotoia and Anna Mansi; her son-in-law Howell Powder; and her nieces, Debbie Mansi and Sheila Garvin.
She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Sanford (Don) of Scituate, RI; her children, Sharon Powder of Palmer, AK, Rebecca Wheeler (Don) of Grand Bay, AL, Stephen Shaw (Chryl) of Aylet, VA, Brenda Plummer (Jim) of Beloit, WI and Janet Shaw of Eau Claire, WI; her grandchildren, Rory Kellicut (Allison McLoughlin), Samantha Meisinger (Xavier), Celaena Powder (Erik Kraus), Dayton, Brianna Shaw, Ava, Tatum and Grayson Carey; and her great grandchildren, Sky, Olivia and Matthew Meisinger.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gio's Garden, a respite for families of disabled children.
