She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Spiegel and Anna Spiegel (Fuhrman); her husband Tony; her son Steven; and her brothers, Arthur Spiegel (Dora), Albert Spiegel (Ebba) and Harvey Spiegel (Martha).

She is survived by : her children, Noreen Hintz (Steve), Nancy Kurtz (Bill), Michael Shest (Judith) and Mark Shest (Mary). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Tigerton.
