He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Lucy Hardie (Ross), Ty Brookman and Margaret Stoy (Aaron); his grandchildren, Sam Hardie, Gage Brookman, Eva Brookman, Matthew Gjovig (Matti) and Jayden Stoy; his siblings, Greg, Cindi Marquardt, Joan and Denny Reidel; his niece Heather Lare (Cory); and his cousin Alan.
