She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Gale; her children, Amy (Kermit Sharpe), Andrew, Jeri (Lacy) and Andy; her friend Richard; her children, Ryan Brandau and Lacy (Ryan Weister); her grandchildren, Ryan Stanek (Lucia), Cole, Connor Sharpe, Nathan, Heidi and Miles Maack; her mother-in-law Alice; her nieces, Jackie Jacobson and Patty Marshall; her siblings-in-law, Mary Jo, Bill Hill, Sue, Norm Peck, Ken, Dawn Brandau, Ann and Matt Hynek; her mother Eleanor; her brother Ron; her father-in-law Bob; and also, Gary and Joe Schnurr. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was a constant, by her brother's side as he lost his battle with cancer, while also caring for her mother with Alzheimer's.
