She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Spooner and Delores Spooner (Krahn); her husband Steve R. Nelson; her stepson Alan Nelson; and her father-in-law Ray Nelson.
She is survived by: her son Robert; her siblings, Dan Spooner (Sandy) of Nevada, John Spooner (Denise) of Nebraska, Ruth Schinder (Gale) of Tomah, Ren'e Lindsey of Onalaska, Tammy Spooner of Tomah and William Spooner (Candy) of Texas; her mother-in-law Carole J. Nelson of Tomah; and her sister-in-law Kristi Nelson (Lexxi) of Tomah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home (801 E Monowau St, Tomah, WI 54660). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
