She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bartels and Ella Bartels (Gebhardt); her husband Chuck; her sisters, Linette Hatfield (Ken), Sharon Bourbeau, Elda Hubert (Bernard) and Cheryl Sue; her half-sister Arlene Jensen; her sister-in-law Lois Bartels; Kevin Greeno.

She is survived by: her brother Garland Bartels. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
