He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bever and Catherine Bever (Henn); his wife Bernice Malec Newlun; his daughter Barbara; his stepsons, Raymond and Jerome "Jerry"; his daughter-in-law Marlene; and his siblings, Lester, Ray, Herman "Junior" Bever, Irma Gnewikow, Ramona Flock and Edna Jacobs.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Jerabek (James) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Brian Gehringer (Tracy), Tammy Melton (Larry) and Terra Baars (Chris); and his stepchildren, Kenneth Malec and Jeanie Baumgart (Richard). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, many step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
