He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Tillis and James Patterson Sr.; and his siblings, Joan Bell, Linda Patterson, Jacqueline Patterson and Dr. Daryl Patterson.
He is survived by: his friends, Kevin and Peggy Jessen; his children, Mary (Di Ena Davis), Lauren and Jakob (Meggie Royer); his grandson Alexander; his siblings, Daphne Jones, Paula Patterson and Michael Patterson; his friend Nancy Wenzel Patterson; the mother of his children Jennifer Sutton; Megan, Molly and Tanner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
