He was predeceased by: his father Gary Waege; and his grandparents, Donald, Joanne McClelland, Fredrick and Deloris Waege.
He is survived by: his mother Susan Waege (McClelland); his wife Ashley (Anderson); his daughter Emmalynn; his brother Brent; his parents-in-law, Dave and Barb Anderson of Wilton; his siblings-in-law, Karen Anderson of Tomah, Scott Anderson (Jenny) of Wilton, Kim Libbey (Travis) of Bloomer, Heather Dougherty (Steve) of Fall Creek, Michelle Sayer (Tommy) of Tomah and Shannon Rohlfing (Patrick) of Tomah; and his nieces and nephews, Garrett Anderson, Tyler, Hannah, Carson, Jaxton Libbey, Anna, Andrew Dougherty and Avery Sayer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, where an account has been established in Jason's daughter, Emmalynn's, name.
