She was predeceased by : her parents, Maurice L. Koch and Lenna V. Koch (Markee); her siblings, DuWayne Francis, Lloyd Arthur Koch and Maxine Smith (Bill); her brother-in-law Bill; and her former life partner Darwin Smith, Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Candis Bainter (Jim), Mark Smith (Tammy) and David Smith (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jacquoline Mehtala (Smith), Michelle Brueggeman (Smith), Ashley Theiman (Smith), Mitchell Smith, Jared Smith (Steph) and Karissa Newman (Brian); her sister Gladys Koch; her niece Heather; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Anali (Ana) and Rebekah (Bekah). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
