She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Spalla and Rosalie Spalla; and her husband Milo Whitney. She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Trussoni (Robert), Julie Hastings (Dave), Linda Englerth (Mike), Mary Ann Laylan (Al) and Wendy Cagle (Greg); and her sisters, Veronica and Ann. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Tomah - Torkelson Funeral Home (2224 Superior Ave, Tomah, WI 54660). Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A vigil service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Queen of the Apostles Parish (315 W Monroe St, Tomah, WI 54660).
