It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Jeanne Schedler of Tomah, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kortbein and Lydia Kortbein (Berg); her husband Donald Schedler of John's Lutheran Church; her son Mark; her great grandchildren, Ava Musser, Joel, Lena and Merci Henselin; her stepmother Margaret (Ford); and her brothers, Stanley (Berniece Meyer), Burton (Lillian Schedler) and Arnold Lauth.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Schedler (Sue) of Tomah and Susan Henselin (Philip); her grandchildren, Jennifer Schwartz (Peter), Jessica Tebow (Robby), Jocelyn Warrick (Kevin), Joshua Schedler (Jamie), Jacob Schedler (Heather), Karl Henselin (Hannah), Aaron Henselin (Abigail Knapp), Daniel Henselin (Emily), Katherine Musser (Casey) and Rachel Burkart (Evan); her great grandchildren, Emily, Halle (Isaiah Schwichtenberg), Finley Schwartz, Asante, Triana Rodriquez, Lila, Reed Warrick, Jackson, Julianna, Josiah Schedler, Natalie, Donovan Schedler, Isaiah, Zachary Henselin, Evelyn, Henry Henselin, Myla, Rhett Musser and Palmer Burkart; and her siblings, Lois Lauth, John Kortbein (Judy), James Kortbein (Glenda) and Kathleen Mueller (Dennis). She is also survived by 2 children: 10 grandchildren: and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church (525 Superior Ave, Tomah, WI 54660). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
