She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Lavold (Norris) and Luther Lavold; her grandparents, Chloie Norris Peterson (Clark), Isaac and Emma Lavold (Sordahl); her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Cowden (Darryl) and Laura Jean Thomas (Merritt); Irene (Henry), Sidney Herried and Linda Hudson.

She is survived by: her husband Don; her sons, Richard "RJ" Herried (Polly) of Groveland and James Herried (Heidi); her brother Richard Lavold (Janet) of Lodi; her grandson Brody Herried; her stepgrandson Jackson Peterson; her brother-in-law David Herried (Linda) of Viroqua, WI; and her nieces and nephews, Hannah Schraufnagel (Tim), Rachel Hesse (Alex), Jeff Cowden (April), Randy Cowden (Nora), Matt Cowden (Robin), Shari Gunderson (Doug), Angie Hampton (Joe) and Mike Thomas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
