He was predeceased by: his parent Ruth Boak; his son Justin; his brother Ronnie Heal; his parents-in-law, Howard and Clara Hanson; his brothers-in-law, Tom Sharp and Charles Mueller; and his nephew Finnigan Oppegard O'Donnel.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hanson; his son Nathan Boak; his grandchildren, Justin and Nora; his sisters, Pam Sharp and Twila Tenant (Floyd); his in-laws, Pat Oppegard (Gaylord), Barbara Mueller, Howard Hanson (Judy) and Charles Hanson (Kelly); Britany Boak. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
