He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Jacob and Geraldine Jacob (Linenberg); and his son Troy Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Kay Steidl of Mary's Catholic School; his daughters, Trina Bakken (Lenny) and Becky Thelen (John); his grandchildren, Darcy Parker, Brooke, Jenna and Faith Bakken; his siblings, Duane Jacob (Jean), Jerry Jacob (Missy), Pati Pierce (Don), Ken Jacob (Donna) and Jim Jacob (Kris); his mother-in-law Marian Steidl; his in-laws, Rose Beck, Alice Miller (George), Mike Steidl (Cindy) and Tom Steidl (Stacia); his father-in-law Math Steidl; his siblings-in-law, Barb Moser, Bob, Jerry Beck and David Ritter; and his siblings' children, Amy Moser Matteson, Kim Jacob-Gilbert, Matt Moser and Joey Gerke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of the Apostles Parish (315 W Monroe St, Tomah, WI 54660). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
