He was predeceased by: his son Tim Westpfahl. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Prise (Lowell) of Tomah, Connie Westpfahl of Tomah and Sandra Vlies (Dennis) of Holmen; his grandchildren, Amanda Bettin (Brad), Alison Prise, Josh McGinnis (Erin) and Amanda Thiry (Chad); his great grandchildren, Jordyn Gilbertson (Rob), Danica Bettin, Evan McGinnis, Morgan McGinnis, Olivia Thiry and Bryce Thiry; his close friends, Tim and Mary O'Dell; Mary Brockman (Roger) and Sharon Sanborn (Howie). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Vernon Cemetery (23001 WI-16, Tomah, WI 54660).
