He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ahrens and Lillian Ahrens (Clevette); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Ahrens of Tomahawk; his sons, Jakob Ahrens of Greendale, WI and Andrew Ahrens (Kyrie) of Appleton, WI; his stepson Cody Thone of Tomahawk; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Tomaszewski (Andy) of Tomahawk, Terri Pankow (Jerry) of Merrill, WI, Sherri Thomas (Brad) of Monticello, MN and Rick Thone (Tina) of Globe, AZ; his aunts and uncles, Clayton, Nancy Koss of Duluth, MN and Lavern McCleeve of Virginia; his niece Kim Schoettler (Adam); his nephew Eric Ahrens (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Juniper and Andrew "AJ". He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
