He is survived by: his parents, Pat Schauder and Phil Schauder of Rhinelander; his siblings, Rita Marquardt (Karl) and Mark Schauder (Kathleen) of Madison; his sister-in-law Elissa Newman-Karhoff (Gary) of Scottsdale; his niece Nicole Briskie (Ryan); his nephews, Matt Marquardt (Elizabeth), Gavin, Wyatt Schauder, Lucas and Ricky Grobart; his aunts and uncles, Bob Jaeckin, Jack Sharples, Lynda Lukowski and Phoebe McIntyre; and his friends, Paul, Keeter and Kyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Chris's memory to the Colorado Gynecologic Cancer Alliance (CGCA) — a cause that was deeply important to both Chris and Marcy.
