He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Kufahl; his grandfathers, Harold Kufahl (Leona) and Melvin Thompson (Clara); his brother Danny Steg; his sibling's children, Nicole Dare and Lance Stough; and his uncles, Rueben Kufahl (Louise) and Delwaine Baumann (Shirley).
He is survived by: his mother Mareda "Marcy" Strasburg (Thompson); his siblings, Connie MacClennan (Dave), Debbie Stough, Julie Steg and Scott Steg (Ada); and his sister-in-law Tammy Steg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, good friends, and kind caregivers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral and Cremation Service (301 Eagle Dr, Merrill, WI 54452). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral Home (301 Eagle Dr, Merrill, WI 54452).
