She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Tobias and Anna Ruth Tobias (Langdon); her husband Harold Smart; her siblings, Susie, Cora, Rosie, Nancy, Ethel, Mary, Ruby and Wilfred; and her grandchildren, Christian and Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Hartwig, Teresa Schmidt (Dan), Gary Smart and Ken Smart (Jill); her siblings, Barb, Donnie and Lennie; and her grandchildren, Heather Meyer, Robin Wilt, Clem Haring, Keari Webie, Gerry Haring, Forrest Haring, Stephanie Garrett, Tilly Frasch, Jeremy Smart, Audrey Graf, Lindsey Henderson, Andrew Smart, Matthew Smart, Grant Smart, Keith Schmidt and Jason Schmidt. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
