He is survived by: his wife Irene Strauss; his children, Eric Strauss (Michelle), Georgi Sartain and Wendy Michalski (Thomas); his siblings, Richard Strauss, Gary Strauss and Margaret Robinson (Butch); his sister-in-law Linda Strauss; his grandchildren, Benjamin Michalski, Whitney Ford (Jacob), Ripley Sartain, Katie Michalski (Devin Foster), Mercedes Gessler (Damyn), Cassidy Sartain and Trinity Strauss; and his great grandchildren, Sterling Sartain, Adaline Sartain, Carson Sartain, Lilly Ford and Deekin Foster.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (108 W Somo Ave, Tomahawk, WI 54487). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
