He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Hildebrand; his parents, Worlen May and Lyda May; his sons, Jerod and Jay; and his siblings, Etta, Donald, Dorothy, Florence, Ramona, Donna, Billy, Dean and Alice.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Leggett of Tomahawk and Josh Leggett (Karla) of Oshkosh, WI; his grandchildren, Justin (Becky), Jordan (Sara), Jack and Miranda; his great grandchildren, Julius, Morgan Jay and Jace; his brother Neal Leggett of Tomahawk; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Hildebrand and Roberta Meyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Aspirus Seasons of Life Hospice House or the American Cancer Society.
