She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Laulette and Margaret Laulette (Garrity); her husband Clinton; her son Larry Anthes; and her sisters, Mary "Fra" Wickland and Margaret "Peggy" Slove. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their children, along with many beloved friends.

Joan fought a most courageous battle with Alzheimer's for the last 17 years.
