She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Budde and Anne Budde (Kopelmeyer); her husband John Kleist; and her brothers, Bruce Budde, Dean Budde and Bill Budde.
She is survived by: her children, John "George" Kleist (Kristen) of Tomahawk and Judy Shaw (Russell) of Portage; and her grandchildren, Jesse Theiler, Mike Theiler, Jenny Smith and Kim Shaw. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
