He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard "Ben" Laabs and Florene Laabs (Hutt); his wife Joan Roth; his son John Laabs, Jr. of Appleton; his granddaughter Kelsey Laabs of New York City; and his brother Bernard "Bernie" Laabs.
