He was predeceased by: his father William Schachinger; his niece Miranda Schachinger; and his pet Piper. He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Wiese; his daughters, Samantha Carlson (Ryan), Nicole Miller (Tim), Jamie LeMere, Katie LeMere and Alyssa Miles (Trevor); his siblings, William Schachinger (Roxanne), John Schachinger, Richard Bise and Bethanie Powell (Doug); his mother-in-law Patricia Wiese; and his grandchildren, Ian Miller (Alivia), Hailey Miller "Peanut" (Shelby "Sheldore"), Logan Miller, Kalyn Miller, Hudson Deisinger, Blake Deisinger, Hannah Miller, Mason Carlson, Wyatt Miles, Jameson Carlson and Hank Miles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nick's Hodag Lanes (1843 N Stevens St, Rhinelander, WI 54501).
