She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Carstensen and Estelle Carstensen (Vaughan); her husband David Silva; her daughter Amy Silva; her brothers, Jack, Dusty and Danny Carstensen; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Esther Silva; and her siblings-in-law, Roland Hodge, Ada Adment and Carol Carstensen.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Andrew Egan and Ian Silva; her siblings, Lawrence "Chick" Carstensen, Ward Carstensen (Sandy), Nesta Hodge and Wilda Skubal (Steve); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Carstensen and Marilyn Carstensen.
