It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walt V. Halverson of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Halverson and Irma Halverson (Gaedtke); his son Todd Halverson; his siblings, Lorraine Musch, Donna Halverson and Carl Halverson; and his brother-in-law Al Musch.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Halverson; his sons, Shawn Halverson (Shirley) and Jason Halverson (Shannon); his daughter-in-law Tracy Halverson; his sister Jan VanNorman; his siblings-in-law, Jim VanNorman and Linda Halverson; his grandchildren, Shane Halverson and Amanda Halverson; his stepgrandchildren, Carissa Handrick, Tucker VanRyen, Hunter VanRyen, Casey Rossiter, Eric Ravelo and Amber Ames; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Leah Handrick, Charlotte Rossiter, Lydia Ravelo, Emmitt Ravelo and Corbin Cannon.
