He was predeceased by : his grandmother Mabel; and his brother Roger Larson. He is survived by : his mother Helen Taylor; his close friend Kay Hills; his children, Sherri Blissett (Jennifer), Amy Larson and Richard Larson Jr. (Jessica); his grandchildren, Taylor, Preston, Kelvin, Hannah, Dyllan, Nevaeh, Emmah, Aubreey, Brantley, Finnegan and Blakelee; his siblings, Donald Taylor (Karie), Frank Taylor (Linda), Brenda Diamond (Dave), Barbara Daehne and Alice Denotter (Austin); his sister-in-law Carol Larson; and his aunt Ethel. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shell Lake Community Center (200 W Lake Dr, Shell Lake, WI 54871).
